Themis Advanced Plumbing Apprentice Jason O’Hara from Nelson, employed by Arthur Padgett Plumbing, competed in the competition alongside Themis Advanced Electrical Installation Apprentice Joshua Nutter, who is employed by local construction company Speakman Contractors.

Both Apprentices were recognised as strong participants within the competition, making a fantastic contribution to the event and the representation of Themis.

The ‘HIP! National Apprenticeship of the Year’ event is designed to showcase the outstanding hard work and dedication of Plumbing and Electrical Apprentices across the North West. This is the third consecutive year that the Burnley College campus hosted the regional final and demonstrates Themis’ ongoing commitment to promoting Apprenticeships and vocational programmes on a regional and national platform.

Simon Jordan, Director of Themis said:

“I’d like to congratulate both of our Apprentices and all of the participants of the competition on their fantastic achievements. It’s been another successful year of the competition being held at the College.”
